Hailing from Ethiopia and Detroit, they have been in partnership for over 35 years in Washington, DC creating impactful works and engaging in ACTIonVISM. Co-producers of the award-winning movie SANKOFA, Founders of Negod-Gwad Productions, Mypheduh Films distribution, and the Sankofa Video & Bookstore 'liberated' space in Washington, DC, these former Howard University professors, with UTSA LA Rebellion filmmaker roots, they will grace SA with insightful conversation on the power of film and how it can be utilized as a catalyst for social change, history lessons and more!
