He holds a Bachelor of Science in Film Production (Cum Laude) from the Los Angeles Film School, specializing in directing; a foundation that pairs Hollywood technical precision with deeply rooted African perspectives. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Gold Rising program and a recipient of the Melvin Van Peebles Scholarship, honored by the Critics Choice Black Cinema Association.
