Filmmaker Bio:
Calvin J. WalkerCalvin J. Walker is an acclaimed artist, activist, and the CEO of Watchmen Media Productions in Dallas, Texas. Introduced to the power of words through Langston Hughes, his journey evolved to a passion for storytelling inspired by James Baldwin. Frustrated by stereotypical casting, Walker ventured into writing and directing, creating narratives that authentically reflect the human experience. Influenced by figures like Ava DuVernay and August Wilson, he is now a versatile figure, serving as a writer, director for stage and film, casting director, and acting coach. Walker's commitment to meaningful storytelling extends to his advisory role at Art With Impact.
