Torsten Lang, a versatile German-American filmmaker. Characterized by a distinctive visual style and a profound social agenda. Born in 1977 in Rodalben, Germany, Lang brings an impressive artistic biography to the screen that extends far beyond the traditional path into filmmaking. Before transitioning to film, he gained recognition as a painter and digital designer, holding three successful exhibitions with the renowned "Entourage Karlsruhe." His visual signature is deeply rooted in this artistic background: in his films, high-contrast visual architecture and psychodramatic narratives merge into an intense aesthetic experience.
As a former student of Literature, Philology and Philosophy (Heidelberg University, 2002–2008), Lang’s cinematic work serves as a continuous philosophical dialogue.
