Filmmaker Bio:

​Talamieka W Brice

Talamieka Brice is an award-winning artist, filmmaker, photographer and visual storyteller. She is inspired by her hometown of Kilmichael, Mississippi, and by artists Michelangelo, Shakespeare and Maya Angelou. Recently a portrait of Brice, Forever Mood, taken from a series of stills from her documentary film, FIVE, went viral. Brice’s debut film garnered screening across the globe in twenty five festivals and won over thirty awards. She’s also an activist and has led protests in conjunction with Women’s March Founders.

Brice is the wife of a veteran, enemy of the patriarchy and mother to two children. ​
