Khalil Jakur WalkerA gifted young filmmaker from the Jersey Shore, Khalil's passion for film and storytelling was nurtured from a young age. Raised in a single-parent household, he developed a strong work ethic, which he carried into his service in the Marine Corps. His grandfather's analytical approach to films, instilled in him a deep love for cinema and a unique perspective on storytelling.
As the creative force behind Univolt LLC, Khalil specializes in Directing, Screenwriting, and Producing. A recent graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a B.F.A. in Film Directing, his award-winning thesis film "Pass Da Mic" showcases his talent for crafting powerful narratives that delve into Black vulnerability and culture. Based in the New York City | Tri-State Area, Khalil continues to push the boundaries of creative expression, infusing his rich background and experiences into every project. |
