CORTEZ MAC, a writer, producer, director began his indie filmmaker journey through inspirational drama, gospel music and prose. in 1988. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Cortez graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Business Management, and has a minor concentration in Music and Theatre Production. The degree Cortez has earned and allotted him to enhance his writing abilities in directing and producing theatre, television and film projects. He is married with two daughters.

Formally known as the artist JMD, Mac became his career as an international recording artist in 1998. In 2009 he started making films, at which time he reinvented his 'Mr. Club Banga' imqge. Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Deon is married and the father of four. |
