 If you only want to attend a particular event, with out purchasing a All Access or 1-day Pass you can purchase a ticket for a specific event, or RSVP for events that are at the Carver Library at no cost.  Donations are always welcomed and appreciated.

Student Field Trip Group Pass Request Form

​Thank you for your interest in attending the 6th Annual San Antonio Black International Film Festival, taking place from October 4 – 6, 2024. SABIFF is waiving the $25 Student Field Trip Access Pass fee  on Black Friday 4/6, to make our festival more accessible to our youth. We aim to encourage student participation with our screenings and networking events, and allow access to visiting filmmakers and other Creative industry professionals. This educational day is designed to broaden their exposure to the limitless film-related opportunities beyond the classroom, and present examples of Black excellence in various film careers in both the independent and mainstream industry sectors.

Please R.S.V.P. by filling out your School, Classroom, or an Individual Student information on our 'Black Friday' Student Field Trip form below. (before the September15, 2024 deadline)
  • SABIFF Staff will review and send an email confirmation.
  • Teachers: We will have a list with your school or class count at the sign-in table on Friday, October 4th 
  • In addition to some Free events, we have Student discount tickets available the remainder of the festival.

Friday's 1-Day PASS allows for a School or Class to attend SABIFF 2024 School Field Trip 'Black Friday' to engage in the festival from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. In addition, Students & teachers are welcome to attend:  the history of the GreenBook screening (+ Q&A), our community Cinema Under the Stars event, and networking events where applicable.

Our virtual 'Reel Talk' interviews will be available on our Youtube website during and post festival
