Filmmaker Bio:
Brandon D. WilkersonMy name is Brandon Wilkerson. I recently received my master's in film from Howard University in May 2023. I'm also an alumnus of the Art Institute of Washington, where I found my passion for film editing. I'm originally from Beacon, NY, located 60 miles north of Manhattan. I've wanted to create films since I was 14. I stopped growing that year so the NBA seemed unlikely, but come Black History Month, I did a report on Spike Lee and since then I've been chasing this dream. I'm very much into sci-fi and action. I've been a Trekkie since I was 9, thanks to my older brother. It's been my mission to become a well-rounded filmmaker & tell stories that grip audiences & make them ask for more.
