Description: Inspired by the migrant experiences of Venezuelan women in Trinidad and Tobago, Mangoes From the Valley, takes an intimate look into a young woman’s reliving of a night she desperately wants to forget.

FILMMAKER BIO:
As a practitioner of the arts, Aryana Mohammed wears many hats: educator, director, performing artist and freelance writer. She is a graduate of the University of Trinidad and Tobago’s BFA in Performing Arts (Acting) program and has worked in theater and film in various capacities. She believes that art in its myriad of forms, has the ability to depict the human condition, spur reflection and spark change.
