Description: A couple haunted by their past is forced to decide whether love can survive beyond life. Set in today’s world, The Altors explores the various inhabitants of our cities, the isolation they may feel, the battles they lose while among the living and how it often traps them in a never-ending cycle of guilt and regret. It is with the overwhelming feelings of a life left undone, where those who are on stuck between the land of the living and the beyond that our Altors arrive to help them on their way.
Filmmaker Bio:
DIRECTOR: LISA L. WILSON. Lisa is a member of the Producers Guild of America and has developed and produced unscripted programming in daytime and late night from entertainment, variety talk, music, game segments, cooking shows, live performances, podcast as well as primetime news for a variety of networks. She began her career in 2001, and has gone on to win two Emmy Awards. For the past seven years, Lisa’s extensive knowledge in storytelling, production and studio workflow has proven to be instrumental in the success of the shows she helms from concept to screen. Lisa’s has always had a passion for scripted narrative storytelling so she began her scripted writing career in 2018. Her first feature script “Split Marriage” was quickly optioned by an award winning Hollywood studio. She has served as Executive Producer for the award winning short film “Lalo’s House” that went on to receive a Student Academy Award. Lisa has written and produced two short films, one of which "The Altors" she makes her directorial debut. As a woman in entertainment, Lisa values the importance of grooming the future, so she dedicates time and resources to mentor and empower the next generation of female content creators. --- DIRECTOR: GREG PAYTON. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, currently I’m based in Los Angeles, California. I’m an EMMY® winning creative dedicated to developing concepts across multiple platforms. Throughout my life and career, I've learned you don't get through obstacles alone, but with allies. My work starts with an idea, a passion, a vision, but ends with a team filled with creativity, drive and the ability to execute. I’ve directed a number of short films and web series over the years. Notably, I worked in commercial advertising with HAVAS WORLDWIDE, followed by the NEW YORK CITY MAYOR’S OFFICE creating content exploring the city’s tourism. In Los Angeles, I executed a fashion digital series with BUNIM-MURRAY. I teamed with Sean “Diddy” Combs to help launch music television network, REVOLT T.V., leading to a KEY ART AWARD. Currently, I create content for SPECTRUM NEWS 1 and their series, L.A. TIMES TODAY. Most recently, my short film, KILLING ANANN, screened for the Hollywood Dreamz International Film Festival, Action on Film Megafest and Golden State Film Festival.
