Filmaker's Bio:
A first-generation American, J. Gino Cyrus is a 25-year-old screenwriter, director and musician who grew up in Orlando, Florida. With over 200k views on his Youtube channel, Gino enjoys transforming into his rap alias – Young Jahcee. Cyrus started editing videos in the 3rd grade, and began making his own videos in the 5th grade. Gino therefore shoots and edits most of his films/music videos. At age 19, he wrote a locally renowned hip-hop play in honor of his HBCU’s founder, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, that contributed to him earning a presidential scholarship. As a hip-hop connoisseur with over 100 unreleased songs in his catalog, Gino plans to continue to craft quality music under his independent record label that accurately represent his conscious perspective.
